Getting To Know You

words-poster-5860

I have had the opportunity to become acquainted with many wonderful people from many walks of life. I have known rich and poor, famous and modest, wise and otherwise. Joseph B. Wirthlin

Over the past several months things have been moving rather fast on this blog.  It has been one great learning curve for me.

I’ve become aquainted with many in the WordPress community.  I have learned how to interact with quite a few.  I love the back and forth with those I follow, those who follow this blog.

My likes for the blogs I follow are diverse.  Topics ranging from mental health, recipes, blogging tips, fictional writing, etc.,

I can also say I have found many new friends here in this WordPress community and I am sure will make many more over the next year of 2020.

I am borrowing this idea from Vee at #MILLENNIALLIFECRISIS, at least I believe it was her.

I am asking you to introduce yourself using the comment section. I would like to know how did you find this blog, the name of your blog and what is your main interest.  Maybe, even something a little quirky about yourself.  When mentioning your blog insert a link back to your blog.

Part of a song comes to mind that says:

Getting to know you
Getting to know all about you
Getting to like you
Getting to hope you like me

I am looking forward to hearing from you!

I’m still relatively new to this community and so I feel like I’m still trying to find myself. My blog is a variety of things that cover mental health, bad poetry, mom stuff, etc. I have a variety of interests and the friends I follow share varying topics that cover a multitude of topics including crafting, faith based, energy healing, motherhood, dark humor and living in the same Province.
I think I came here because of a suggestion from Vee 😀 She’s very wise 😉
I can be found over at https://mamacoffeechat.home.blog/

Angie, I have also learned from Vee. She has taught me some things here on WordPress.
My favorite thing on your blog is the recipes!

I’m so glad that the recipes are your favorite! That’s always my favorite thing to post. I love sharing good food and since I can’t have everyone at my table to share it with, this is the next best thing 🙂

Hi. I’m Chelsea O. I don’t remember how I found your blog; I think you found mine.
I like writing about all those things you mentioned, and reading about them as well. My favorite genre to write lately is futuristic sci-fi, but I default to things like personal narrative because it’s faster.

  3. Ricky Talks

Hi my name is Raven I go by Rae and I am one of the hosts to Ricky Talks. I actually found your blog through V’s blog #MILLENIALLIFECRISIS at 5am. I like to write about being a new parent, family issues, postpartum issues, and things of that sort. Something quirky about me…a lot of people think my name is Ricky because of my blog, instagram, and Pinterest but actually it isn’t mine or my husband’s (he’s the other host to my blog) names. We just both really like the name and his nick name is Rico suave in real life so we came up with Ricky Talks as a rendition of that. Rickytalks.com is my blog I might have to come back and tweak the link though I’m not always great with technology. I will also come back and follow you I just don’t know how from the phone aka my issue with technology.

Hi Ricky Talks, I am sorry but I cannot answer how to use “follow’” on a cell phone because I don’t have one.
For all things WordPress I go to V at MILLENIALLIFECRISIS
I am so glad you stopped by because of V’s blog.
Hope you find the answer to your question!

        Thank you for the follow!
I hope you find the posts enlightening.
I am always opened to dialogue from those who read my posts. I thrive on that, no kidding, I really do!

Same here! I will try my best to stay up to date and interactive which is not always easy with a busy little one. But, I know commenting and others views on things inspire and direct me so I always try to do the same for others posts as well.

        Wow, a little one!
I remember those days. She is now going to be 35 at the end of the month.
Now I get to enjoy three grandchildren, the oldest being 12.
I don’t miss changing diapers, preparing bottles, all of that stuff.
Being asked “why” till you are ready to pull your hair out.. lol

She’s 7 months old and hasn’t started talking yet but she is always trying to pull my hair out. You know I think that’s probably one of the best perks to being a grand parent you can spoil them and give them back. None of the hard work. Enjoy your grandchildren!

Is your little girl walking yet? Those first steps are the most exciting part of watching a little one grow up. The next one is when the training wheels come off their bike.

No sir not yet she’s actually into jumping a lot so hopefully that’s the next step. She skipped over wanting to crawl so no we wait for the walking milestone
