December 1, 2020 -World AIDS Day

VeryWell Health: World AIDS Day was first observed on December 1, 1988 to bring greater awareness to HIV, as well as to commemorate those affected by the disease. Today, it is regarded as the longest-running disease awareness initiative of its kind in the history of public health.

    One of the world’s leading HIV researchers is in BC, and the HIV infection rate here is now the lowest it’s been since HIV first emerged.
